Eid (and of course Ramadan) are a great excuse to spend some quality time with friends and family. Amongst many other things, Eid is a celebration and an opportunity to celebrate wearing vibrant clothing. There are challenges living in America finding Muslim fashion in the height of Summer, so here are 4 tips on how to style Islamic Women's Clothing for Eid 2019.

After a month of self-reflection, Eid is an opportunity to try something new. Throughout the last few months eccentric prints have been a big fashion focus for the year, and as Eid is falling in summer this year, why not embrace this trend and incorporate it into you Eid looks?
I think the pattern trend means great things for Muslim fashion. These colorful and decorative patterns have been incorporated into a huge range of loose fitting clothing - perfect for Islamic women's clothing - and a way to stay on trend this year.
For example, an updated floral print maxi skirt would be a great option to wear for Eid (or more generally). Gone are the days where you will only find straight black skirts as pleated skirts and prints come back into fashion. A maxi skirt will keep you feeling cool, covered and looking fashionable in the summer's heat.
Another of the most popular trends for the summer is, of course, wide leg pants. Again, this is great news for Muslim fashion as there now a huge selection of fashionable loose fitting pants to wear. For summer, you've got to find yourself a pair of patterned or pastel colored wide leg pants.
This look works really well with a small block-heel to give you a little extra height and with a simple blouse.
Business casual for Eid
Sometimes Eid or Iftar requires you to attend a more formal event with the extended family. If this is the case it's really simple to put together a feminine yet bold outfit for the occasion. Flowy bell sleeves have been a popular trend in the past but I think they are great for Islamic women's clothing as its an easy way to upgrade a simple blouse. Alternatively, combine a pair of dark denim jeans with a Spring blazer - dress up with a blouse or down with a casual t-shirt.
Muslim Eid Dresses
If you're looking for some traditional Eid dresses why not swap the jalabiya for a maxi dress? There are heaps of stylish long-sleeve maxi dresses which would be a suitable option for Eid. If you're looking for a more specific shop to help with Muslim fashion The Modist has a great selection of modest fashion (obviously) which would be perfect for Islamic women's clothing - I'd definitely recommend you check them out.

Casual outfit for Eid
And of course you could always incorporate the Spring/Summer trends into a more relaxed women's Eid outfit. Wearing a trendy pair of flared jeans (style tips here) with a simple tunic for the summer would make the perfect look for celebrating Eid at lunchtime with the family.
If you're looking for something more suitable for this Spring, you can turn a maxi-dress into an elegant women's Eid outfit by adding a sweater and a pair of classic Converse.
Hopefully you have some more inspiration on what to wear for your Women's Eid Outfit 2019. Eid Mubarak from Fashiola!
