Browse the feed of influencers for some inspiration.
Have you ever wondered what trends were popular amongst Scandinavian influencers? Anna, our Norwegian editor, had the opportunity to cover the street-style from Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Typically, Scandinavian women have certain style – mixing minimalism and a subtle femininity into their wardrobes. How does that translate to influencers at Fashion Week? Here are the top 3 trends.
- Cowboy Boots
The benefit of having a fairly minimal wardrobe is the opportunity to inject statement pieces into your outfits, such as these cowboy boots. Combine a pair of cowboy boots with some light denim skinny jeans and an oversized white shirt. If the summer holds out, you can even wear them with a casual midi dress.
- Cycle Shorts
The 80’s comeback trend has made its way across the globe and of course trendy influencers are wearing pieces from the era to Fashion week. Cycle shorts are for the bold – and super confident – but relatively easy to wear. Pick yourself a cotton or denim pair and combine with something loose-fitting on top, such as a blazer or oversized tee.

Obviously, it would be amiss to leave out one of the most popular trends of the year, women’s blazers. The trend came back in full force and the Scandinavians have embraced it and made it their own by wearing linen versions. The lightweight and unoffensive color pallets you find in linen clothing is perfect for the Scandi-style. Again, wear the trend oversized or check out what our thoughts were for how to wear it in Spring.
London Fashion Week SS19
In quick succession, we move to London to find out what influencers and fashionistas alike have been sporting in street style for fashion week. Similar trends can be spotted, early September is the perfect weather to be wearing a light jacket or blazer after all. So what was new for the UK?
Keep an eye out for this print trend as it’s sure to a key trend for the remainder of the year. In the UK, the plaid influence has expanded to include tartan prints (as seen below). Keep it simple when styling the trend by introducing fairly neutral palettes which are perfect Fall colors.
- Denim outside the box
Lets get creative with how we wear denim – we’re done with simple denim jackets and a pair of jeans. Ultra wide-leg jeans, long-line denim jackets and denim dresses (also worn by Alexa Chung) are the denim focus.

- Deconstructed Style
What was ever wrong with a normal sweater? Clearly the traditional way of wearing clothes are grown boring and now you’ll find deconstructed versions of almost everything. However when it comes to sweaters and jackets it kind of works – but personally I’m not sure whether I can get on board with super deconstructed skirt trend.
